Veterans Day School Supply Donation
From 2-6 Sep 24, members of SANCSC conducted a Double Good Popcorn sale using virtual "pop-up" stores to raise funds to purchase school supplies for students in some of San Antonio's most impoverished areas.
In 4 days, SANCSC raised over $3,000 of sales in which the proceeds were split 50/50 between SANCSC and Double Good. SANCSC used the proceeds to purchase school supplies.
On 11 Nov 24, Veterans Day, on a day that the country pauses to celebrate veterans, members of SANCSC delivered supplies to MLK Academy, S.J. Davis Middle School, and Kelly Academy at Lowell.
Upholding their motto... "Giving back to the Community", SANCSC provided much-needed support for students and teachers.
The DoubleGood fundraiser was led by Mr. Joe Clark. Mr. Freeman Moore coordinated/ scheduled visits with each school, and Ms. Cassandra Porter purchased all of the supplies.
