A Taste of New Orleans

In continuation of a long-standing partnership, SANCSC provided volunteers to support the San Antonio Zulu Association's 39th Annual "A Taste of New Orleans" event, which was held from 25 - 27 April. 

Over the years, "The Taste" has become one of Fiesta San Antonio's most popular events.

Over the years, "The Taste" has been a fun event with a focus on family, as it allows attendees stroll about the grounds and enjoy New Orleans-style food and music. "The Taste” menu includes assorted gumbos, red beans and rice, shrimp creole, etouffee, shrimp kabob, jambalaya, Cajun catfish, soft shell crab, crab au gratin, crab rolls, fresh crawfish boil, boudin, alligator, beignets and a host of other tasty treats. A wide assortment of beverages is also available. We also have kids rides, play areas, clowns and face painting.
